Water and sanitation
Who to contact and what information to have ready.
Water services in the region involve municipal information and APIN operations. For a fault, billing question or connection request, keep the service address and customer details ready.
Choose the issue
Identify whether the question concerns supply, a leak, sanitation, billing, a new connection or works in the public network. That helps the first team route it correctly.
A faster fault report
Give the full service address, customer number if available, when the problem began and whether neighbours are affected. Photographs can help with a visible leak, but never approach unsafe electrical equipment, an open chamber or unstable ground to obtain them.
For suspected leakage inside private property, first make the area safe and identify whether the meter continues to move when outlets are closed. The network operator can explain where public responsibility ends and private repair begins.
Billing and new connections
For a bill, have the invoice and meter reading ready. For a new connection, expect to provide property identification and ownership or occupancy information, then confirm the technical and fee requirements with the responsible service.
