Who may benefit
CLDS work is designed around people who face barriers to employment, social participation or independent ageing. Support can be individual, but many activities also create connections between neighbours, age groups and local organisations.
You do not need to diagnose the programme yourself. Explain the situation and the outcome you are trying to reach; the team can say whether CLDS is the right route or direct you elsewhere.
Prepare the first conversation
Bring relevant dates, employment or training information and any existing referral. For an older relative, explain what support already exists, what daily difficulty has changed and who can be contacted with consent.
